The route around the old town (red line) includes essential sights such as the New Town Hall, St Peter’s Church, Theatine Church, and the Hofgarten (Court Garden).

The blue line leads you through the art district of Munich, featuring Schwabing, one of Europe's largest urban parks, and locations like Leopoldstraße, Odeonsplatz, and the English Gardens.

The Nymphenburg-Olympia route (purple line) visits the Nymphenburg Palace and the Olympic Park, built for the 1972 Olympic Games.

How does it work?

The bus tour ticket is valid for 24 or 48 consecutive hours, allowing unlimited hopping on and off during this period.

The operating hours of the Munich sightseeing bus are as follows:

Summer timetable (April 1-September 30)

Old Town Tour (Red Line): departs every 15-30 minutes from 10 am to 5 pm.Nymphenburg-Olympia route (Purple Line): departs every 30 minutes from 10 am to 5 pm.Schwabing route (Blue Line): departs at 10:30 am, 11:30 am, 12:30 pm, 1:30 pm, 2:30 pm, 3:30 pm, and 4:30 pm.

Winter timetable (October 1-March 31)

Old Town Tour (Red Line): departs every 15-30 minutes from 10 am to 4:30 pm.Nymphenburg-Olympia route (Purple Line): Monday to Friday departures every hour, Saturday to Sunday every 30 minutes from 10 am to 4 pm.Schwabing route (Blue Line): departs at 10:30 am, 12:30 pm, 2:30 pm, and 4:30 pm.
