After meeting in Munich, you'll embark on a comfortable express train journey to Nuremberg, taking less than two hours. Your guided tour of the historic centre will cover significant aspects of the city, including its importance during Nazi Germany and its role as a cultural centre under the German Empire.

Stroll through the Altstadt, or Old Town, split by the Pegnitz River. You'll see the Imperial Castle, Gothic churches housing important art, and lively markets that have existed for nearly 700 years. Experience free time to explore at your leisure and to have lunch (not included). If visiting in December, you can enjoy the city's renowned Christmas market.

The tour includes visits to reminders of the Nazi era, including the Nazi Party Rally Grounds, the largest Third Reich building still intact, where your guide will discuss the Nuremberg Trials, notable for prosecuting those responsible for World War II crimes.

After the tour, you will return to Munich, arriving back after approximately 10 hours.
