After meeting in Munich, you will begin your express train journey, taking less than two hours to reach Nuremberg. Your guided tour of the city's historic center will commence, highlighting Nuremberg’s significance during Nazi Germany and its role as a cultural center under the German Empire.
Wander through the Altstadt (Old Town), divided by the Pegnitz River. You will admire the Imperial Castle, Gothic churches featuring important German art, and vibrant markets active for nearly 700 years. There will be free time for you to explore at your own pace and have lunch (not included). If visiting in December, you can enjoy the city's renowned Christmas market.
The tour includes visits to significant reminders of the Nazi era, including the Nazi Party Rally Grounds, the largest remaining Third Reich structure, where your guide will discuss the Nuremberg Trials, notable for prosecuting those responsible for Nazi crimes during World War II.
After completing your tour, you will return to Munich, with an approximate total duration of 10 hours for the trip.
