Third Reich + Dachau Concentration Camp Tour
This tour begins at the Munich Central Train Station, focusing on Germany's Third Reich and the Dachau Concentration Camp. You will learn about key locations related to Adolf Hitler's rise and the origins of Nazism in Germany and Europe.
During a walk in Munich's Old Town, you will visit significant sites including the building where Hitler joined the Nazi Party and the former Gestapo headquarters. The tour also covers the location of the Beer Hall Putsch, or 'Munich Putsch', which occurred in 1923.
After 2 hours and 30 minutes of exploration in Munich, there will be an hour of free time before proceeding to Königsplatz and taking a train to Dachau. The train journey lasts approximately 30 minutes, reaching the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site.
The visit includes a 5-hour tour of the camp and museum, which was the first Nazi concentration camp in Germany during the Holocaust and served as a model for others. The tour will showcase photographs, documents, reconstructed cell blocks, the crematorium, and administration headquarters, along with lesser-known facts about notable figures such as Heinrich Himmler.
After the tour, the group will return to Munich to conclude the day.
