Sabinar de Calatañazor Hot Air Balloon Ride

Join us for a hot air balloon ride over the Sabinar de Calatañazor, where you'll fly over this natural site dating back to the Tertiary Era and see the town of Muriel de la Fuente and the Sierra de Cabrejas.

Activity Details

At the designated time, we'll meet at the Parque de la Fuentona, where our hot air balloon will be waiting for us. Before take-off, we'll explain the safety rules and review how to coordinate during landing. Once everyone understands, we'll start our hot air balloon ride over the Sabinar de Calatañazor.

We'll ascend and begin to admire the village of Muriel de la Fuente and the Abión River as we enter the Reserva Natural del Sabinar de Calatañazor. We will share interesting facts about this prehistoric forest known for its trees over 400 years old and reaching 20 meters in height.

We'll fly over one of the world's highest density of savin forests, with views of the Sierra de Cabrejas in the distance. You'll be able to take numerous pictures as we explore this natural site in Soria, and after this one-hour flight, we'll land, showcasing how enjoyable landing can be.

If you're hungry, we'll satisfy your appetite with a countryside picnic featuring regional delicacies like cured meats and Iberian cheese, along with a toast with cava.
