With this tour through the vineyards of Mutigny, we'll discover the best-kept secrets of one of the most famous products in France: champagne.

Options

When booking, you can choose between four different options. All of them start from Place de la Mairie and include a tour of the Mutigny vineyards with a guide in English and French.

Tour with wine tasting (1.5 hours)

This guided tour will cover a 2-kilometer long path called Sentier du vigneron where we will learn about the importance of wine in France and enjoy views of the Marne Valley. We will discuss the effect of phylloxera on the vine and the site's designation as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The tour concludes with a tasting of local wine.

Tour with champagne tasting, 2 glasses (2 hours)

This guided tour follows the same itinerary as the previous one and includes two glasses of French champagne after exploring the environment and preservation techniques.

Tour with champagne tasting, 3 glasses (2 hours)

This tour will reveal facts about the champagne industry, including that 312 million bottles were sold in 2015. After the walk, participants will taste three types of champagne from the region.

Tour with wine tasting & lunch (2 hours)

This option begins with a guided tour of the Mutigny vineyards and ends with a tasting of local wine alongside a picnic that includes a Parisian sandwich, a salad, and a dessert.
