Guided Tour of Mykonos
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Mykonos at the time of your choice and begin a fascinating walking tour of the capital of the Greek island.
First, we'll head into the old town and walk through the cobbled streets of Mykonos until we reach Manto Square. Here we'll find the famous monument to the Greek heroine Manto Mavrogenous, an aristocrat who fought for the Hellenic cause in the War of Independence.
Then we'll continue to the area of Matogianni, full of stores, and some of the town's iconic landmarks, such as the three wells. Another essential place is the Gioras bakery, where an old underground wood stove has been used for bread making for centuries.
After tasting this delicacy, we'll visit the five windmills, an important sight in Mykonos. We'll also see Chora Castle and the Alefkandra district, known as "Little Venice."
Finally, we'll pass the church of Agios Nikolaos in the city's old port before returning to the original starting point an hour and a half after we first set off.
