Mykonos, Ano Mera & Farm Tour

On this tour of Mykonos, we'll discover the beauty of this Greek island. We'll visit San Ioannis harbour, the village of Ano Mera, and a local farm.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel or the cruise port and start the tour of Mykonos.

First, we'll visit a viewpoint for photos, then head to San Ioannis harbour, known for fishing boats protected from strong northern winds.

Next, we'll see St. Ioannis Church next to a small cell where the saint was allegedly held captive. After discussing the town's history, we'll proceed to Mykonos airport to observe plane operations.

Afterward, we'll go to Ano Mera, the only inland village. We'll explore its whitewashed houses, narrow streets, and visit Panagia Tourliani monastery, founded in 1542, noted for its Greek architectural style.

We'll then visit a Mykonian farm to learn about crop-growing techniques and animal care, including a presentation on local wine history. Here, you can have a snack, typically Greek salad, feta cheese, olives, tzatziki, dolmadakia, stuffed tomato, with bread and a drink. Finally, we will visit beautiful beaches such as Kalo Livadi, Kalafati, and Agia Anna.

After a total of 4 hours of sightseeing, the tour will conclude.
