Mykonos, Ano Mera & Farm Tour

On this tour of Mykonos, we'll discover the true beauty of this Greek island. We'll visit the picturesque San Ioannis harbour, the charming small village of Ano Mera and a local farm.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel or the cruise port and start a tour of Mykonos. First, we'll reach a viewpoint for photography, then head to the small harbour of San Ioannis, where fishing boats set sail to avoid strong winds.

Next, we'll visit St. Ioannis Church, adjacent to a cell where the saint was reportedly held captive. After learning about the town's history, we'll proceed to Mykonos airport to observe how planes land and take off.

Following this, we'll explore Ano Mera, the only inland village. This area features whitewashed houses, narrow streets, and the Panagia Tourliani monastery, founded in 1542 by two monks, exemplifying typical Greek architecture.

We will also visit the Mykonian farm, where you'll learn about crop growing and animal care techniques, alongside a presentation on local wine history and traditions. You may choose to enjoy a snack, typically consisting of Greek salad, feta cheese, olives, tzatziki, dolmadakia, and a drink. Finally, we'll visit beautiful beaches like Kalo Livadi, Kalafati, and Agia Anna before concluding the 4-hour tour.
