Mykonos, Ano Mera & Farm Tour

On this tour of Mykonos, we'll discover the true beauty of this Greek island. We'll visit the picturesque San Ioannis harbour, the charming small village of Ano Mera and a local farm.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel or the cruise port and start a tour of Mykonos to discover the island.

First, we'll visit a viewpoint for photos. Then we'll head to the small harbour of San Ioannis, known for its fishing boats avoiding strong north winds.

Next, we'll visit St. Ioannis Church, adjacent to a cell where the saint was allegedly held captive. After learning about the town's history, we'll proceed to Mykonos airport to see planes land and take off.

After, we will go to Ano Mera, the only inland village. We will explore the area with its whitewashed houses, and visit the Panagia Tourliani monastery, founded in 1542, known for its typical Greek architectural style.

Our next stop will be the Mykonian farm to learn about crop growth and animal care, accompanied by a presentation on local wine history. Optionally, you can have a snack, usually comprising Greek salad, feta cheese, olives, tzatziki, dolmadakia, stuffed tomato, bread, and a drink. We will also visit beautiful beaches like Kalo Livadi, Kalafati and Agia Anna.

After a total of 4 hours of sightseeing, the tour will conclude.
