Join us on a journey through Mykonos, where the authentic charm of this Greek island awaits. Our exploration includes a visit to the scenic San Ioannis harbour, the quaint village of Ano Mera, and a local farm showcasing island traditions.

Description

At the scheduled time, we will collect you from your accommodation or cruise terminal to embark on a captivating tour of Mykonos, designed to unveil the island's stunning landscapes.

We will begin our adventure at a panoramic viewpoint, perfect for capturing amazing snapshots of the surroundings. Following this, we’ll proceed to the charming San Ioannis harbour, renowned as the departure point for fishing boats that seek refuge from the northern winds.

Moving on, we will visit St. Ioannis Church, located next to a small cell believed to be where the saint was held captive. After absorbing some intriguing details about the local history, our next destination is Mykonos airport, where you can witness the unique sight of planes landing and taking off in this compact airport.

Our next stop takes us to Ano Mera, the island's only inland village. Here, we’ll stroll through this delightful area, characterized by its whitewashed buildings, narrow alleys, and lovely squares. A key highlight will be our visit to the Panagia Tourliani monastery, established in 1542 by two monks, which beautifully exemplifies traditional Greek architectural styles.

Next, we’ll explore a Mykonian farm, where you can understand the unique agricultural methods and animal care practices. Additionally, we will enjoy a brief presentation regarding the local wine heritage and winemaking customs.

If you wish, you may savor a light snack on your own, typically featuring Greek salad, feta, olives, tzatziki, dolmadakia, stuffed tomatoes, alongside bread and a drink. As we conclude our journey, we will visit some of the island’s most picturesque beaches, including Kalo Livadi, Kalafati, and Agia Anna.

After approximately 4 hours of exploration, we will wrap up the tour.
