Head deep into the ice cave of Iceland's Kötlujökull glacier, located on the spectacular Katla volcano. Accompanied by a professional guide, you will discover all the hidden corners of this dream-like cave.

We will meet up in Vík and then board a 4x4 Jeep to explore the south coast of Iceland. We will drive through stunning landscapes to reach the Kötlujökull glacier.

Upon arriving at the glacier, we will get out of the vehicle and prepare to enter the glacier on the Katla Volcano. This volcano is one of the most active in Iceland, but the visit to the ice cave will be safe.

We will arrive at the famous crystal ice cave, known as the "Yoda Cave." The mix of blue ice, volcanic ash, and unique rock formations creates a breathtaking environment. We will explore various areas of the cave, admiring the blue, grey, and white colors reflected on the walls.

After the tour, we will return to the 4x4 and drive back to Vík.

Important information

The route for this tour is of medium difficulty on rough terrain. The walk lasts for approximately one hour and is not recommended for individuals with heart problems.

Due to icy conditions, wear warm clothes and appropriate footwear for walking on snow and ice.
