Kanazawa Private Tour

We'll pick you up from your hotel or meet at the tourist information centre in Kanazawa to begin this tour. Our first stop will be the Kanazawa train station, known for its unique wooden entranceway. Next, we will visit Omicho Market, providing local produce since the Edo period, showcasing fish, seafood, fruits, vegetables, and sweets.

Afterwards, we'll travel to Higashi Chaya, renowned as the most popular geisha neighbourhood in Japan, where we will admire traditional tea houses. Then, we will head to Kanazawa Castle, built in the 16th century by Toshiee Maeda, founder of the Maeda clan. In the western part of the castle, visit Gyokusen’inmaru, a charming Japanese garden.

We will continue to Oyama Shrine, a Shinto shrine associated with the Maeda clan, before arriving at Kenrokuen Gardens, one of Japan's top three gardens, where we will stroll around its lakes and paths. Next, we will explore the Nagamachi district, where samurais lived from the 12th to 19th century.

Our final stop will be the Nishi Chaya District, another famous geisha neighbourhood with quaint wooden buildings and tea houses. After approximately 8 hours, we'll return you to the starting point.
