On this tour, we'll learn about Japanese rural life by visiting the historic village of Shirakawago and enjoying the hot springs of Hirayu Onsen.

At the agreed time, we'll meet at the Shirakawago bus station, where we'll take a public bus to start this tour of rural life in Japan.

First, we'll tour the village of Shirakawago to learn about its history. This place is protected by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The village features houses with triangular roofs made of straw, ponds, and rice fields.

Then, we'll visit the Wada family home to see what a typical Japanese home looks like. We'll also encounter different tools related to sericulture. Our guide will provide interesting facts about everything we find.

Afterwards, we'll return to the bus and head to Hirayu Onsen, the thermal village in the Japanese Alps. After an hour and a half's journey, we'll enjoy a dip in the thermal pools, where soaking is part of a purification ritual.

With our bodies relaxed, we'll take a walk to discover the Hirayu Waterfalls. During the trek, we will experience the tranquility of nature and its incredible beauty.

Finally, we'll take you to Takayama station and say our goodbyes after 8 hours of touring.
