We'll meet at the scheduled time outside Takayama Jinya, the house of the former governor of the province. From here, we'll begin a walking tour of the centre of this Japanese town.

It's nightfall in the city. The streets are illuminated by lights, creating a distinctive atmosphere. We'll start discussing Takayama's origins while walking through its historic centre and discovering some of its sanctuaries.

We'll enter Sanmachi Suji, the oldest neighbourhood of Takayama, exploring the facades of its houses. We'll also discuss the spiritual lifestyle of Japanese culture as we approach the Miyagawa River.

We'll cross the river by the famous red bridge of Nakabashi and conclude the night tour of Takayama after 40 minutes of exploration.
