5-Day Safari in Kenya

How do you feel about spending your vacation among lions, buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, flamingos, and a bunch of other African wild animals? These are the highlights of this 5-day safari that starts in Nairobi. We'll visit the Masai Mara Reserve, Lake Nakuru, and Aberdare National Park.

5-Day Safari in Kenya

Day 1: Nairobi - Aberdare National Park

At 8 am we'll pick you up at your hotel in Nairobi and travel to Aberdare National Park. This park is known for its lush landscapes at over 4000 meters (13,125 feet) above sea level. We'll search for lions, leopards, buffaloes, and baboons. If lucky, we might spot rarer animals like the African golden cat or bongo antelope. Following the safari, you'll have the remainder of the day free at the hotel, where you can view elephants from the lodge.

Day 2: Aberdare National Park - Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, we will proceed to Lake Nakuru with a four-hour drive. At the lodge, we will have lunch. Afterward, we'll visit the lake home to flamingos and pelicans, and it's a habitat for white and black rhinos. We'll return to the hotel for dinner.

Day 3: Lake Nakuru - Maasai Mara

On this day, we'll have breakfast before departing for the Masai Mara National Reserve. During our trip, we'll see Mount Longonot. Once we reach the camp, we will have lunch and then explore the area for wildlife like giraffes, elephants, monkeys, leopards, lions, and gazelles. The day will end with dinner at the camp.

Day 4: Maasai Mara

This morning is free for you. Optionally, you can book a hot air balloon ride over the Maasai Mara. If you choose not to, we'll conduct a safari to see animals like zebras, wildebeest, hippos, and crocodiles. We'll have a picnic lunch during this excursion before returning to the camp for dinner.

Day 5: Maasai Mara - Nairobi

On the final day, after breakfast, we'll depart from Maasai Mara to Nairobi. You will be dropped off at your accommodation or the airport around 2 pm.
