Tour Details

Day 1: Nairobi - Samburu National Reserve

You will be picked up from Nairobi airport or your hotel and travel to the Samburu National Reserve. After a 6.5-hour drive, you'll check in at your hotel and enjoy a buffet lunch. In the afternoon, set off on your first game drive to spot animals like the reticulated giraffe and Grevy's zebra, exploring routes along the Ewaso Nyiro River. Dinner will be served at the lodge.

Day 2: Samburu National Reserve - Nairobi

After an early start, you will embark on a last safari, ideal for observing active wildlife in the morning. Following the safari and a hearty breakfast, check out and return to Nairobi, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or chosen location.

Visit a Maasai village

You may visit a nearby Maasai village at your convenience by coordinating with the guide, offering a glimpse into the community's culture and traditions.

3-Day Safari

Consider upgrading to a 3-day safari. After a sunrise safari on the second day, return to the lodge for a buffet lunch. In the afternoon, go for another wildlife safari. On the third day, enjoy a final sunrise safari before breakfast and then head back to Nairobi.

Accommodation

This safari includes 1 or 2 nights full board accommodation in:

Samburu Sopa Lodge (3*): inside Samburu National Reserve.Samburu Simba Lodge (4*): in Buffalo Springs National Park.

Accommodation is based on availability, with double rooms assigned based on group size. Children under 4 travel free but must share a bed.

Important: Schedules and Flights

Book your flight to Nairobi to arrive by 4 am for the scheduled 6 am pickup. Consider staying in Nairobi the night before the safari. On the final day, expect to arrive in Nairobi around 6 pm; if flying out, schedule domestic flights after 8 pm and international flights after 9 pm.
