Samburu National Reserve Private 2 or 3-Day Safari

Experience the beauty of northern Kenya with a 2 or 3-day safari in the Samburu National Reserve. You will be accompanied by a private guide and explore the savannah in search of unique wildlife.

Tour Details

Day 1

At the designated time, we will pick you up from Nairobi airport or your hotel and head to the Samburu National Reserve, approximately a 6.5-hour drive. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and enjoy a buffet lunch. In the afternoon, after a short rest, we will conduct our first game drive in the reserve, searching for species such as the reticulated giraffe, Grevy's zebra, and Somali ostrich. Return to the lodge for dinner before resting for the next day’s activities.

Day 2

After an early wake-up, we will embark on a last safari in Samburu. Post-safari, return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast, check out, and begin the journey back to Nairobi, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or chosen location.

Visit a Maasai village

During your free time, you may choose to visit a nearby Maasai village by coordinating with your guide, allowing for cultural immersion in this community.

3-Day Safari

Upgrade to a 3-day safari for enhanced experience. On the second day, after the sunrise safari and breakfast, enjoy lodge facilities before another wildlife safari in the afternoon. The third day includes a final sunrise safari, breakfast, and check-out before returning to Nairobi.

Room allocations will depend on group size, with children under 4 years traveling free but sharing beds with adults.

Important: Schedules and Flights

For flight bookings to Nairobi, note that pickup is at 6 am, requiring your arrival by 4 am. An overnight stay in Nairobi prior to the safari is advisable at your expense. Expect arrival back in Nairobi around 6 pm on the final day. Book domestic flights no earlier than 8 pm and international flights no earlier than 9 pm.
