Tour Details

On the day of your tour, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Guilin at the indicated time and head deep into the verdant natural landscapes around Yangshuo.

Begin your adventure in Guilin climbing aboard a traditional bamboo raft and sailing down the Yulong River. Throughout the cruise, lasting between 40 minutes to 1.5 hours, you'll be surrounded by the unique scenery of Guilin: rice paddies, tiny rural villages and the towering green karst mountains. Don’t forget your camera!

Disembark back onto dry land next to Jiuxian bridge, where you'll continue onto the next part of your excursion: cycling around Yangshuo on a bike tour. You'll spend two hours pedalling alongside the banks of the Yulong River while discovering fascinating facts about the nature and culture of this beautiful region.

Your bike tour will come to an end in the historic town of Jiuxian, where you'll have an hour of free time to eat lunch at your leisure (not included). After eating, you'll meet back up to visit one of the village's most famous spots: West Street.

Finally, you'll be taken back to your hotel in Guilin, being dropped off 8.5 hours later.

Requirements

Children under 5 years old or under 1 metre (3 foot 3 inches) tall are unable to participate in this activity.People over 70 years of age are not permitted to board the rafts.

How Does It Work?

During this full-day tour, you'll experience cycling and bamboo rafting, both designed to showcase the stunning countryside of Guilin. Your adventure starts with hotel pickup. Then, you’ll enjoy a peaceful bamboo raft ride lasting between 40 minutes and 1.5 hours along the scenic Yulong River, experiencing local landscapes.

After disembarking at Jiuxian Bridge, you will continue with a two-hour bike tour along the riverbanks, where you can learn about the local flora and fauna.

Your bike tour concludes in Jiuxian, granting you one hour of free time for lunch (not included). After your meal, the tour will resume with a visit to West Street before your return to Guilin.
