Private Tour Details

We'll pick you up at your hotel at the scheduled time and head north toward Longsheng, an area of Guilin famous for its tiered rice terraces. The drive takes about two hours, allowing you to enjoy the classic scenery of rural China.

Upon arrival, we'll take you to the ticket office to buy your tickets for Longji. After obtaining the tickets, we will travel by vehicle to the Longji parking lot, which takes about half an hour. From there, you can choose to take a sightseeing vehicle to Jiulongwuhu, a five-minute ride, or you can walk, which is a hike of about an hour and a half.

Once we reach our destination, we'll walk through the Longji rice fields and learn about the irrigation system established by local farmers. You'll enjoy a panoramic view of the mountainside.

After exploring Longji, we'll walk to Qixingbanyue, the Seven Stars Around the Moon viewing platform, for impressive area views. We'll hike down the mountain and pass through the village of Ping'an, where you'll have free time for lunch.

Finally, we'll return to the Longji parking lot for the vehicle to take us back to your hotel in Guilin, concluding this eight-hour tour.

The best time to visit the rice terraces is from June to October. Note that local restaurants are closed from November to April.
