Head into the enchanting region of Longshen and discover the famous rice terraces of China on this tour from Guilin. You'll learn about the local rural way of life with the help of our professional English-speaking guide.

Private Tour Details

We'll pick you up from your hotel at the indicated time and head north to Longshen, known for its stepped rice terraces. The two-hour journey includes picturesque landscapes of rural China.

We'll stroll through the famous rice fields of Longji and learn about the unique irrigation system set up by local farmers. You'll enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the mountainside.

After appreciating the landscape of Longji, we'll continue to Longsheng on a 30-minute walk where the guide will inform us about the more than ten ethnic groups living here.

After several hours exploring the beautiful region of Longsheng, we'll return to the hotels in Guilin, completing around 8 hours of activity.

Best From June to October

The best time to enjoy the rice terraces is from June to October. Bear in mind that local restaurants are closed from November to April when making your reservation.
