We'll pick you up at your hotel at the scheduled time and head north toward Longsheng, an area of Guilin famous for its tiered rice terraces. During the drive, which is about two hours, we'll get to enjoy the classic scenery of rural China.

Upon arrival, we’ll visit the ticket office to acquire your tickets for Longji. After securing the tickets, we’ll hop into a vehicle for a half-hour drive to the Longji parking lot. Once there, you can opt for a sightseeing vehicle that drives to Jiulongwuhu, taking around five minutes, or choose to walk up, which is approximately a one and a half hour hike. The choice is yours!

Once we reach our destination, we’ll stroll through the famous Longji rice fields and explore the origins of its name: “Dragon's Backbone.” With the guidance of your English-speaking escort, we’ll gain insights into the irrigation system developed by local farmers and admire a panoramic view of the mountainside.

After absorbing the breathtaking scenery at Longji, we’ll proceed to Qixingbanyue, the Seven Stars Around the Moon viewing platform, where we’ll be treated to spectacular views of the landscape. Following our time at the viewpoint, we’ll hike down the mountain, passing through the village of Ping'an, where you’ll have free time for lunch at your leisure.

Ultimately, we’ll make our way back to the Longji parking lot, where a vehicle will be waiting to return you to your hotel in Guilin, concluding this eight-hour tour.

The optimal period to experience the rice terraces is between June and October. When reserving, keep in mind that local restaurants are shut from November to April.
