The Country Music Capital of the World, Nashville is the state capital of Tennessee. On this walking tour, we'll tour Downtown Nashville to learn about the history and major landmarks of the music city.
Nashville Guided Tour
At the selected time, we'll meet outside the Sheraton Hotel to begin this guided tour of Nashville. The focus will be on Downtown Nashville, where the major landmarks of Tennessee's capital city are located.
We will start by visiting the War Memorial Auditorium, Tennessee Capitol, and sculptures such as that of former U.S. President Andrew Jackson.
We will stroll down Sixth Avenue to explore Nashville's urban art murals and discuss the street decoration project initiated in 2016, featuring artists such as Herakut, Rone, and Curiot, while uncovering the cultural significance of the graffiti.
Our next stop will be Printer's Alley, where we will learn about the city's recording industry and visit legendary bars like Skull's Rainbow Room. Country music is a significant part of Nashville's appeal.
We will continue the tour by admiring historic buildings like the Southern Turf, Cohen Building, Ryman Auditorium, and Downtown Presbyterian Church, discovering facts about each and taking pictures.
After an hour and a half of sightseeing, we will conclude our tour of Downtown Nashville at the Assembly Food Hall.
