Nashville Guided Tour
We will meet outside the Sheraton Hotel at the selected time to begin this guided tour of Nashville. The tour will explore Downtown Nashville, home to the major landmarks of Tennessee's capital city.
The tour will commence with a visit to the War Memorial Auditorium, the Tennessee Capitol, and the iconic sculpture of former U.S. President Andrew Jackson.
Participants will walk down Sixth Avenue to view Nashville's urban art murals, learning about the street decoration project initiated in 2016 and works by artists such as Herakut, Rone, and Curiot. The significance of these colorful graffiti will also be discussed.
The guided tour will proceed through Printer's Alley, featuring legendary bars like Skull's Rainbow Room, where insights into the history of the city's recording industry will be provided.
Next, we will admire the facades of historic buildings such as the Southern Turf, the Cohen Building, the Ryman Auditorium, and the Downtown Presbyterian Church. Numerous interesting facts will be shared, and participants will have the opportunity to take pictures.
After approximately one and a half hours of sightseeing, the tour will conclude at the Assembly Food Hall.
