Nashville Guided Tour
At the selected time, we'll meet outside the Sheraton Hotel to begin this guided tour of Nashville. The tour will explore Downtown Nashville, the heart of Tennessee's capital city.
We will first see the War Memorial Auditorium, established after World War I, along with the Tennessee Capitol and notable sculptures, including that of former U.S. President Andrew Jackson.
Next, we'll stroll down Sixth Avenue to view Nashville's urban art murals, discussing the street decoration project initiated in 2016 while observing works by artists like Herakut, Rone, or Curiot. We will learn about the cultural significance of these vibrant murals.
The guided tour proceeds through Printer's Alley, home to legendary bars like the Skull's Rainbow Room, where we will explore the history of Nashville's recording industry, a vital aspect of the city.
We will also admire the facades of historic buildings such as the Southern Turf, the Cohen Building, the Ryman Auditorium, and the Downtown Presbyterian Church, while sharing interesting facts about each. Numerous photography opportunities will be available.
After an hour and a half, we will conclude our tour at the Assembly Food Hall.
