After meeting at the entrance to the Heritage Museum of the Bahamas, we will start our guided tour. This tour lasts 45 minutes and will uncover the history and heritage of the Bahamas.

The museum is located in Mountbatten House and houses a collection primarily from Mr. Hamilton White, a British collector. One notable item is a 4.5 billion-year-old meteorite.

Our tour will cover various historical periods of the Bahamas, starting with the archipelago's geology and wildlife prior to Christopher Columbus' arrival. We will discuss the topics of hidden treasures, pirates, slavery, and sugar plantations. The tour will also include British colonization, the history of the British monarchy in the Bahamas, and its ongoing influence on the country.
