When reserving your visit to Graycliff Chocolatier, you can select from two unique experiences. Both options begin at the designated meeting spot at the factory's entrance along Hill Street.

Standard Tour (15 Minutes)



This journey starts with an exploration of the origins of cacao in the Bahamas. Discover the historical significance of cacao and its role within the Caribbean and its connections to Mesoamerica. Was cacao revered in the same way here? What were its early applications? Prepare to uncover fascinating insights during your visit!



You will tour the factory facilities to understand the chocolate-making process, from the initial roasting of cacao seeds to the meticulous grinding process that transforms them into a delightful treat. Are you excited to embark on this sensory adventure?



To wrap up the experience, you will have the chance to sample two varieties of Graycliff chocolate. A truly sweet conclusion!

Tour + Chocolate Workshop (1 Hour)



If you opt for this enhanced experience, you will enjoy the previously mentioned tour and also engage in a chocolate-making workshop that is both informative and enjoyable.



After donning the appropriate attire, you will enter the facilities where we will guide you through the methods and techniques involved in chocolate crafting. Then, it's your turn to create! Once your molds are ready, you will combine chocolate with traditional Bahamian ingredients.



You will create chocolate bars, bonbons, truffles, and cocktail chocolate pops. Following this workshop at Graycliff Chocolatier, you'll emerge feeling like a true chocolate aficionado! The highlight of your journey will be the opportunity to indulge in your own chocolate creations. Absolutely delicious!
