Sierra Baguales Hiking Tour
We'll pick you up at your hotel in Puerto Natales at 7:30 am and set off towards the Sierra Baguales.
Upon arrival, we'll enjoy coffee and cookies before starting our hiking adventure. After breakfast, we'll take a short half-hour walk to the Irene Lagoon, a lake that is home to the Andean condor. In this location, we'll share information related to the colonization of Chilean Patagonia.
Afterwards, we'll get on the bus and head to the starting point of the second part of the hiking route through the Sierra Baguales. We'll walk for 12 and a half kilometers (7.8 miles) through the mountains to an area where we'll discover marine fossils more than 50 million years old.
Then, we'll ascend to a viewpoint located 1200 meters (4,000 feet) above sea level to appreciate views of the snowcapped peaks and valleys. While enjoying the scenery, we'll have a picnic lunch consisting of a sandwich, a piece of fruit, a cereal bar, nuts, and water.
Finally, we'll return to Puerto Natales, where we'll arrive at your hotel at 6:30 pm.
