Torres del Paine National Park 5-Day Hiking Tour

The Torres del Paine National Park, the Valle del Francés, and other natural wonders await us on this 5-day hiking route in Chile's Patagonia.

Hiking Tour Details

Day 1: Puerto Natales - Torres del Paine

We will pick you up from your hotel in Puerto Natales and take a bus to Laguna Amarga, transferring to a minibus to reach the Torres del Paine National Park Welcome Centre. We will start our hiking route in Torres del Paine, stopping for a picnic-style lunch before continuing to the Base de las Torres viewpoint. This hike covers 13.6 miles (22 kilometers) before reaching our camping site for dinner and overnight stay.

This involves a physically demanding 24km (14.9 miles) hike through the Andean peaks.

Day 2: Torres del Paine

After breakfast, we will start our second hiking route, covering 14km (8.69 miles). After a lunch break, we will arrive at the Cuernos del Paine and continue toward the banks of the Nordenskjöld Lake, where we'll have dinner and rest at a lakeside encampment.

Day 3: Torres del Paine - Valle del Francés - Torres del Paine

Following breakfast, we will hike approximately 12km (7.45 miles) to the Valle del Francés viewpoint. Here, we will see the Hoja, Espada, and Fortaleza mountain ridges, as well as Nordenskjöld and Pehoé Lakes. After a snack, we will return to our camp for dinner and overnight rest.

Day 4: Torres del Paine - Grey Glacier

We begin the day with breakfast and then hike 11km (6.8 miles) towards the Grey Glacier, one of the largest natural attractions in the Southern Patagonian Ice Field. Dinner will be at the camp by Grey Lake, with optional activities like a suspension bridge walk or kayaking tour that evening.

Day 5: Grey Glacier - Torres del Paine - Puerto Natales

After breakfast, we will hike towards the refuge. From the pier, optional 30-minute catamaran ride on Lake Pehoé is available, or you can walk along the lake. We will regroup at the camping site and return to Puerto Natales by minibus and bus, arriving around 10 pm.
