Torres del Paine Trip

  • 10 Stunden

Discover the Torres de Paine National Park, a natural wonder of Chile, on this tour that includes the Mylodon Cave Natural Monument and the majestic glacial lakes of the Patagonian massif.

Torres del Paine Trip

At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from your hotel in Puerto Natales and head into the Torres del Paine National Park, following the shoreline of the Ultima Esperanza Sound inlet.

We will stop at Laguna Amarga for a view of the Torres del Paine mountain range. On a clear day, you might see their reflection in the lake. Next, we will stop at Nordenskjöld Lake for views of the Cordillera Paine mountains, including the tallest, Paine Grande, which exceeds 10,000 feet. We will then visit the Salto Grande waterfall that flows into Lake Pehoé.

Crossing the Serrano bridge, we arrive at Grey Lake, located at the base of Paine Grande. We will stroll along the shore and, conditions permitting, visit a viewpoint for glacier views.

Before reaching the Mylodon Cave, we will pass by several scenic lakes of Chilean Patagonia: Sofia, Porteño, and Del Toro. The Natural Monument consists of three caves featuring the fossil remains of the Mylodon, a prehistoric relative of the sloth.

After visiting the caves, we will return to Puerto Natales, admiring the Torres del Paine peaks along the way. The tour concludes back at your hotel after approximately 10 hours.
