The Aletsch Arena is a destination for snow enthusiasts. The Aletsch Explorer Pass facilitates access to the Great Aletsch Glacier and various viewpoints, allowing for pleasant mountain and forest hikes. It includes unlimited use of the cable cars for a full day, recommended for morning use to maximize enjoyment of attractions. The cable cars connect all peaks and hiking trails of the Aletsch Arena ski resort.

Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn Train

The pass also provides a ticket for the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn (MGBahn), linking Brig and Fürgangen, and granting access to villages like Riederalp and Bettmeralp. You can walk from Moosfluh to Riederfurka and conclude at Villa Cassel, a historic 19th-century castle.

How does it work?

To activate the Aletsch Explorer Pass, present your booking voucher at any Aletsch Bahnen AG ticket office:

Mörel to Riederalp: Furkastrasse 29, 3983 Mörel-Filet.Betten Talstation towards Bettmeralp: Guldersand, 3993 Grengiols.Fiesch to Fiescheralp: Fieschertalstrasse 1, 3984 Fiesch. Note: This viewpoint is closed from September 2024 to December 2025.
