Aletsch Arena is ideal for snow lovers, with the Aletsch Explorer Pass providing access to pleasant hikes, viewpoints, and the Great Aletsch Glacier. The pass offers unlimited use of the cable cars at the ski resort for a full day. It is recommended to start early to maximize the experience.

The Aletsch Arena cable cars connect all peaks and hiking trails.

Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn Train

The Aletsch Explorer Pass also includes a ticket for the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn (MGBahn), linking Brig and Fürgangen. Access Riederalp and Bettmeralp, and enjoy a walk from Moosfluh to Riederfurka, finishing at Villa Cassel, a 19th-century castle.

How does it work?

To use the Aletsch Explorer Pass, collect your passes by presenting your booking voucher at any of the Aletsch Bahnen AG ticket offices:

Mörel to Riederalp: Furkastrasse 29, 3983 Mörel-Filet.Betten Talstation towards Bettmeralp: Guldersand, 3993 Grengiols.Fiesch to Fiescheralp: Fieschertalstrasse 1, 3984 Fiesch. Please note the Eggishorn viewpoint will be closed from September 2024 until December 2025.

Opening hours may vary by season, and not all viewpoints are open year-round. It is recommended to check in advance.
