Aletsch Explorer Day Pass

Aletsch Arena is a destination for snow lovers, ideal for pleasant hikes in the mountains and forests, visiting viewpoints, or exploring the Great Aletsch Glacier, the longest glacier in the Alps. The Aletsch Explorer Pass provides unlimited use of cable cars at the Aletsch Arena ski resort for one day. It is advisable to start using the pass in the morning to maximize enjoyment.

The cable cars connect all the peaks of the ski resort and its hiking trails.

Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn Train

The Aletsch Explorer Pass also includes a ticket for the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn (MGBahn), which links Brig and Fürgangen. It provides access to Aletsch villages like Riederalp and Bettmeralp, allowing walks from Moosfluh to Riederfurka, concluding at Villa Cassel, a 19th-century castle.

How does it work?

To begin using the Aletsch Explorer Pass, collect your passes at any Aletsch Bahnen AG ticket office by showing your booking voucher:

Mörel to Riederalp: Furkastrasse 29, 3983 Mörel-Filet.Betten Talstation towards Bettmeralp: Guldersand, 3993 Grengiols.Fiesch to Fiescheralp: Fieschertalstrasse 1, 3984 Fiesch. Please note that this viewpoint will be closed from September 2024 until December 2025.
