On this trip to the monasteries of Batalha and Alcobaça, we'll leave Nazaré for a journey through the history and architecture of Portugal.
Description
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Nazaré. We will start this journey through the history and culture of Portugal.
Our first stop will be at the Alcobaça Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There, we will take a guided tour to explore the cloisters, chapels, and rooms of this ancient Cistercian monastery, along with the legends surrounding this sacred place.
Next, we will head to the Batalha Monastery. We will admire this Manueline Gothic masterpiece during a guided tour of its precincts, exploring chapels, sacristy, and cloisters.
After these two historical visits, we will return to Nazaré and drop you off at your hotel 4 hours after pickup.
