Your experience will commence at 8 am with a pickup from your accommodation in Nazca. You will embark on a two-hour drive along the Nazca - Cuzco interoceanic highway, where breathtaking views of the Peruvian Andes and the impressive Cerro Blanco, the world's tallest dune, will accompany you.

Upon reaching Pampa Galeras Bárbara D'Achille, situated at over 13,500 feet above sea level, the fascinating sights of vicuñas and guanacos will greet you, both remarkable camelids thriving in this Andean expanse. You’ll learn about their distinctive traits, as they are closely related to both llamas and alpacas.

Next, we will visit the reserve's museum, where you'll gain insights into the variety of wildlife present in this Peruvian region. Additionally, we'll discuss the Vicuña Project and the initiatives by Andean communities aimed at conserving this threatened species.

Afterward, step outside for an up-close encounter with these remarkable creatures, perfect for taking photographs! After an hour and a half of exploring Pampa Galeras, we will return to the bus for our journey back to Nazca.

The tour will conclude around 2 pm.
