Capri and Pompeii Day Trip

Fall in love with the beauty of Capri and travel back in time admiring the archaeological UNESCO World Heritage Site of Pompeii. A tour of contrasts combining the history of Ancient Rome and the high fashion of the island!

Day Trip Details

The tour starts in the morning at your selected pickup point, where we'll take a hydrofoil ferry to Capri, just off the coast of Sorrento. The trip begins at La Piazzeta, followed by a walk through Capri’s narrow streets featuring local shops and Italian fashion designers.

We'll ascend Vía Krupp to reach the Gardens of Augustus, formerly the summer residence of Friedrich Alfred Krupp. Here, we will enjoy views of the Faraglioni, three iconic sea rocks. Participants will have free time for a traditional lunch (not included) and to explore local shops before returning to Naples.

Upon returning to Naples, we will head to Pompeii. During our visit, we will learn about the site’s history marked by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. We will explore thermal baths, the Macellum, and Basilica to understand life in Ancient Rome. After this historical immersion, we return to Naples, concluding the 8-hour day trip.

If there are fewer than 6 people in the group, the guide will be replaced by an audio guide in Pompeii.
