Tour Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Piazza del Municipio. From this point, we'll begin a guided tour of Naples that'll lead us to delve into the noble and elegant past of the capital of Campania while admiring some of its most iconic monuments.

After seeing the Naples City Hall, we'll walk towards the Castel Nuovo, whose origins date back to the 13th century. We'll discuss the numerous sackings and battles that this building has withstood and reveal some legends about its dungeons. We'll admire its great triumphal arch and explain its links with European royal houses.

The next stop will be in front of the St. Charles Theater, where we'll observe its Neoclassical façade and recall the great fire the building faced in 1816. Continuing, we’ll see representative examples from the Belle Époque such as the Umberto I Gallery and the Gambrinus cafe.

This tour will also take us through Piazza del Plebiscito to admire the Royal Palace, the Basilica of San Francesco di Paola, and sculptures of former Neapolitan kings.

We will conclude with a walk along Via Toledo and the Spanish Quarter, reaching the most emblematic underground station of Naples to admire preserved Roman ruins. The total duration of the tour is 2 hours and 20 minutes.
