Naples National Archaeological Museum Private Tour
At 10 am, we meet outside the National Archaeological Museum. Accompanied by the guide, we enter this 16th-century building to explore its extensive collection of artefacts.
For one and a half hours, we'll tour various rooms across four floors. Starting with the Farnese collection, we will view many sculptures of the ancient Roman Empire and discuss the beliefs of this civilization, revealing many interesting facts about the artworks.
Next, we will explore the sections dedicated to Pompeii and Herculaneum. A large collection of mosaics, papyrus, and everyday items will illustrate life in these cities before the great eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD.
The museum also features vases, jewelry, ancient Greek treasures, coins, and artifacts from ancient Egypt.
After spending between 1 hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours on this historical journey, we conclude our guided tour. You can then remain in the museum and continue to explore freely.
