After meeting your guide at the Porta Grande of the Capodimonte Museum, your private tour of the art gallery will begin with an overview of the history of the museum, located in the Palace of Capodimonte, a former royal residence built by Bourbon King Charles in a forest north of Naples.
Following this introduction, you'll visit the first floor, which includes the Borgia and Farnese Collections showcasing masterpieces by Botticelli, El Greco, Rubens, and Van Dyck, along with the Porcelain Gallery and the old Armoury.
Your tour will continue to the second floor, featuring the National Gallery with paintings from the Neapolitan School and contemporary art exhibitions.
