Private Tour of the Capodimonte Museum
After meeting your guide at the ticket offices of the Capodimonte Museum, you will start your private tour of the art gallery. You will begin by learning about the history of the museum, located in the Palace of Capodimonte, constructed by the Bourbon King Charles in a forest north of Naples.
Next, you will head to the first floor, where you will find the Borgia and Farnese Collections, featuring works by Botticelli, El Greco, Rubens, and Van Dyck. This floor also includes the Porcelain Gallery and the old Armoury.
On the second floor, you will explore the National Gallery, recognized for its Neapolitan School paintings and contemporary art exhibitions.
Finally, you will visit the modern art and photography exhibitions on the third floor, concluding your private guided tour after two hours.
Tickets not included
The price of this private tour does not include the entrance fee for the Capodimonte Museum. The ticket costs 12 Euros per adult, and 6 Euros for young people aged 18 to 24. Entry is free for children under 18 and for those with an Artecard.
