Private Colombo Day Trip
At 9 am, pick-up will be from your hotel in Negombo to head to Colombo, located 40 minutes away on the west coast of Sri Lanka.
The first stop will be Beira Lake, where we'll visit the Gangarama Temple, home to the smallest Buddha statue in the world. Next, we'll see the Sri Kailawasanathan Devasthanam Swami Kovil, also known as the Hindu Temple of Colombo, noted for its striking sculptures.
The tour continues to Independence Square, which commemorates Sri Lanka's independence from the British Empire in 1948. Nearby is the Colombo Lotus Tower, a 350-meter high telecommunications structure.
Our next stop will be the Aukana Buddha Statue replica, the tallest Buddha in the country. As we admire this giant figure, we'll discuss its significant history. The tour concludes with a short walk through the bazaars.
We will return to your hotel in Negombo by 3 pm.
