At 7 am we'll pick you up from your hotel in Negombo and head to Galle, one of the most historic cities in Sri Lanka.

First, we'll visit the famous Galle Fort, designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built by the Portuguese in the 16th century, this fort was constructed to protect one of the key ports in the Indian Ocean.

The excursion will continue to Galle's southern beaches, where we'll visit its well-known turtle farm. You'll also observe the nearby coves where locals practice stilt fishing, a unique fishing technique originated in this area.

After an hour of free time for lunch, we'll visit the Tsunami Museum to learn about the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami. This event inspired the film The Impossible, directed by Juan Antonio Bayona.

Our final stops will include a herb garden and the Moonstone Mine, which is said to contain stones from the moon.

The tour will conclude with a return to your hotel in Negombo, arriving at 7 pm.
