After picking you up from your hotel in Negombo at 9 am, we'll begin the tour of the city by heading to the large lagoon, one of the main fishing areas in Sri Lanka. The tour will continue exploring Negombo's colonial past by visiting the St. Sebastian and St. Anne churches, built during the years of European domination, which still preserve architectural elements characteristic of the Old Continent.
The next stop will be the Angurukaramulla Temple, a cherished sanctuary noted for its colourful decoration and a gigantic Buddha sculpture that is six metres long, presiding over the entrance. Our final stop will be the popular Negombo Fish Market, where you can learn about the products most in demand by residents and sample some delicacies from the stalls.
The tour will end with your return to the hotel at 3 pm.
