Discover one of Piedmont's charming villages with this guided tour of Neive. Gorgeous views, gardens, and historical homes await you!

Tour Description

We'll meet at your selected time in the central square, Piazza Italia de Neive. Are you ready to explore the important landmarks of this beautiful village?

Setting off from this square in the Langhe region, we'll see the colourful buildings of the town hall, built in Piedmontese Rococo style.

We'll make our way uphill through the streets, surrounded by small brick houses and interesting historical buildings. We'll also see baroque villas, the exterior of the romantic Castelborgo Gardens, and the San Michele Church.

Continuing towards Pian Castello, we'll visit Casaforte Dei Conti Cotti Di Ceres, a 13th-century palace. Here, we will climb the Bell Tower for views of Langhe, Roero, and Monferrat, all UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Our final stop will be the Donna Selvatica Museum, where we'll learn about grappa and the story of Romano and Lidia Levi, who have crafted this drink for over 60 years.

After 1 hour, we'll conclude the tour at the museum's entrance.

Add a Wine Tasting (2 Hours)

Upgrade your experience in Neive with this addition. After the previous tour, we'll arrive at a local winery to learn about Piedmont wines.

You will have the chance to taste 3 different wines: a white wine, a young red, and a full-bodied red, all from vineyards within recognised World Heritage regions.
