Discover one of the charming villages in Piedmont with this guided tour of Neive, featuring scenic views, gardens, and historical homes.

Tour Description

We'll meet at your selected time in the central square, Piazza Italia de Neive. Get ready to explore the important landmarks of this beautiful village.

Setting off from this square in the Langhe region, we'll see the town hall's colourful buildings, built in Piedmontese Rococo style.

We will walk uphill through the village's streets, surrounded by small brick houses and significant historical buildings, including elegant baroque villas, the exterior of Castelborgo Gardens, and San Michele Church.

Continuing towards Pian Castello, we’ll see Casaforte Dei Conti Cotti Di Ceres, a 13th-century palace. Here, we will climb to the top of the Bell Tower for views of Langhe, Roero, and Monferrat, which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

We will conclude with a final stop at the Donna Selvatica Museum, where we will learn about grappa and the story of Romano and Lidia Levi, who have crafted this drink for over 60 years. The tour lasts 1 hour and ends at the museum's entrance.

Add a Wine Tasting (2 Hours)

Enhance your experience in Neive with this option. After completing the tour, we will visit a local winery to learn about wines produced in Piedmont.

You will have the opportunity to taste 3 different wines: a white wine, a young red, and a full-bodied red, all sourced from vineyards within recognized World Heritage regions.
