Torrox, Cómpeta and Sayalonga Day Trip Itinerary

We will collect you from your hotel in Nerja and travel west to Torrox, located just 30 minutes away by road.

During our guided tour of Torrox, characterized by one of the best climates in Europe, we will explore its historic center, showcasing the town’s design from the al-Andalus era, reflecting its significance within the Nasrid Kingdom of Granada.

Next, we will proceed through the comarca of Axarquia in Malaga, visiting the ancient town of Competa. This municipality is recognized for its whitewashed buildings and is nestled in the Almijara sierra, with a rich history linked to al-Andalus and wine production. We will visit a local bodega to learn about the wine-making process and taste various muscatel wines, which gained prominence when served at the royal wedding of Felipe VI and Letizia Ortiz.

Our final stop will be the picturesque town of Sayalonga, where we will enjoy a traditional local lunch. You can choose from two starters, two main dishes, and two desserts, which also includes a refreshing drink. Subsequently, we will return to the hotels where our journey began.
