Tour Details

After picking you up at your accommodation in Nerja, we'll head to the picturesque mountains of the Axarquía. This tour explores the Moorish history and architecture of the white villages.

Our first stop is Árchez, one of the smallest villages of the Axarquía, where we will stroll through its narrow streets and admire its popular architecture.

In six minutes by car, we reach Canillas de Albaida, less than 3 kilometers (1.8 miles) from Árchez. We will drive through its main points of interest and make a stop at the main square, where you can enjoy a coffee amidst white houses with colorful flowers and the old village church.

Next, we will visit Salares, the smallest village of the Axarquía, to learn about its history from Roman times to the Christian period, including the Arab occupation.

Finally, we head to Sayalonga for a delicious tapas lunch. We will stroll through one of the streets known for being the narrowest in Andalusia. The lunch, featuring a starter and a main course made with local ingredients, showcases the rich cuisine of the Axarquía region. You'll dine at one of the best restaurants in the area!

After lunch, we will return to Nerja, completing the tour in 9 hours.
