This admission ticket grants you access to one of the most famous natural history museums in the world. More than 45 different rooms await you with exhibits featuring animals, fossils, minerals, plants, different cultures of the world, and meteorites. Must-see attractions include the T-Rex, the 94-foot-long blue whale, and the Easter Island Head.

Ticket Options

During the booking process, you can choose one of the following ticket options:

General Ticket

This ticket grants access to over 40 rooms about nature and the universe.

General Ticket + 1 Temporary Exhibition

This option includes access to over 40 rooms plus one of the following: the Davis Family Butterfly Vivarium, Invisible Worlds exhibition, a film on the giant screen, or the astronomical show of the Hayden Planetarium.

General Ticket + Access to Temporary Exhibitions

This ticket option includes access to over 40 rooms and two or more temporary exhibitions, including the options mentioned above.

Giant Screen Film

The LeFrak Theater features a 40 ft tall and 65 ft wide screen with a state-of-the-art audio system. Films about nature are screened, and the theater is wheelchair accessible.

Davis Family Butterfly Vivarium

Enjoy an exhibition with up to 1000 butterflies flying freely throughout the year.

Opening Times

The museum is open Monday through Sunday from 10 am to 5:30 pm. On October 21, 2025, it will close at 3:30 pm.
