The tour begins early in the morning with a departure from your hotel in Saly, heading north into the coastal region of Thiès.

At the Keur Moussa monastery, the Benedictine monks celebrate mass every Sunday, featuring traditional West African instruments such as the kora, balafon, and djembe.

Inside, experience the monks’ passion as they perform Gregorian chants. The ceremony lasts approximately one hour and reflects the diverse cultural influences shaped by the region's strategic coastal location.

After the mass, visit the shop offering artisan products handcrafted by the monks. You may purchase items as souvenirs of your experience.

The return to Saly will be by bus, arriving around 12 PM.
