Discover the stunning natural beauty of Senegal's Saloum Delta on our tour from Saly, which includes an exciting motorized canoe ride to observe various bird species.
Saloum Delta Private Tour
We will pick you up from your hotel in Saly and travel about an hour and a half south to the Saloum Delta National Park, arriving at the traditional fishing village of Ndangane. Here, we will board a motorized canoe to explore the UNESCO-recognized World Heritage Site.
During the journey, we will navigate the calm waters of the Sine and Saloum rivers, seeing salt marshes, canals, and mangrove swamps. We may encounter birds such as pelicans, herons, cormorants, and kingfishers.
After the canoe ride, we will stop at a restaurant in the park area, allowing time for a traditional meal (not included). Following this, we will visit a tribal village of the Niominka people, who rely on fishing for their livelihood.
After learning about their traditions, we will return to Saly.
Important information
