Our adventure begins at the scheduled time at the Mirador de Sollarete in San José. From there, we will walk quietly along the coastline, embracing the stunning views offered by the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park as night falls.

As we trek through this remarkable landscape, we will appreciate the surroundings while learning about the unique features of this diverse ecosystem. The history and geology of Cabo de Gata will unfold before us, spanning its volcanic formation and the tales of pirates. Throughout the journey, our guide will assist us in recognizing the native flora and fauna.

The trail leads us to the Playa de los Genoveses, famous for its appearances in various films and TV shows. With the guidance of our astronomy expert, we’ll locate the polar star and understand how to use it for orientation. We will gaze up at the night sky, identifying constellations while uncovering the mythology behind their names.

Following our stargazing session, we will make our way back through the interior of the Natural Park, concluding at the Mirador de Sollarete in San José, bringing this enriching 3-hour experience to a close.
