Cabo de Gata Evening Hike

We'll meet at the indicated time at the Mirador de Sollarete in San José to begin our tour. The tour will lead us quietly along the coast, enjoying the landscapes of the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park at night.

During the trekking route, we'll explore the ecosystem and learn about the history and geology of Cabo de Gata, from its volcanic origin to legends of pirates. The guide will help us identify the typical flora and fauna.

The route will take us to the Playa de los Genoveses, a location for numerous films and television series. Our expert astronomy guide will show us how to locate the polar star and help us observe the stars visible in the night sky while discussing the mythology associated with them.

After the observation, we'll return through the interior of the Natural Park to our meeting point at the Mirador de Sollarete de San José, concluding this 3-hour tour.
