Cabo de Gata Evening Hike

We'll meet at the Mirador de Sollarete in San José to begin our tour. The hike will follow the coast, allowing exploration of the landscapes of Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park at night.

During the trek, we will appreciate the environment and learn about the ecosystem's characteristics, including the history and geology of Cabo de Gata, from its volcanic origin to pirate legends. The guide will assist in identifying local flora and fauna.

The route will lead us to Playa de los Genoveses, known for its feature in various films and television series. An astronomy guide will instruct on locating the polar star and how to use it for navigation. We will observe the visible constellations and explore the mythology associated with them.

After the stargazing, we will return through the interior of the Natural Park to the Mirador de Sollarete de San José, concluding this 3-hour tour.
