Cabo de Gata Evening Hike

We will meet at the Mirador de Sollarete in San José at the specified time to begin our tour. The trek will proceed quietly along the coast, showcasing the landscapes of the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park at night.

During the hike, we will appreciate the environment and learn about the unique aspects of this ecosystem, including its history and geology, from its volcanic origin to pirate legends. The guide will assist in identifying the typical flora and fauna of the area.

The route includes a visit to Playa de los Genoveses, a location featured in many films and television series. Our astronomy guide will demonstrate how to locate the polar star for navigation, and we will observe visible stars and constellations while exploring the mythology behind their names.

After the observation, we will return through the interior of the Natural Park to our meeting point at the Mirador de Sollarete de San José, concluding this 3-hour tour.
