Cabo de Gata Kayak & Snorkel Tour

Discover the crystal clear waters and ruggedly beautiful landscapes of Almeria on this kayak and snorkel tour in Cabo de Gata from San José.

Activity Details

At the selected time, we'll meet at San José Beach for a brief lesson on safe kayaking techniques. Participants will have time to practice on the beach before the tour.

After the class, we will begin our kayak tour in Cabo de Gata, paddling east to explore the villages and cliffs of Cabo de Gata.

Midway, conditions permitting, we will stop to snorkel and explore the rich seabed of the area. We will then continue our route to Tomate Cove to admire the volcanic landscapes of Punta de Los Frailes.

After this stop, we will return to the starting point, concluding the activity.

Photo Report

A photographic report will be created during the tour. Participants will receive a link at the end of the tour to download the pictures for free after two weeks.

Important Info

Participants must know how to swim and be capable of paddling a kayak.

This activity has a weight limit of 135 kg (297 lbs) for safety.

Meeting Point

The tour will begin at San José Beach if weather permits. If adverse weather occurs, the tour may start at a different location, such as La Fabriquilla Beach or Agua Amarga Beach, with notification provided the day before.
