Cabo de Gata Stargazing Experience

We will meet at the Los Genoveses beach car park for star observation. The location may vary to ensure optimal conditions for the activity. All necessary equipment will be provided for your comfort.

The Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park is a prime location free from light pollution, ideal for observing constellations with the naked eye. An expert astronomy guide will teach you to recognize the main constellations and visible planets.

The experience includes a journey through the stars, exploring the mythology behind each constellation. You will learn about the influence of the earth's movements and other celestial bodies on calendars, tides, and eclipses. Toward the end, a telescope will be used for detailed observation.

At the conclusion of the tour, participants will be able to identify the planets visible with the naked eye, artificial satellites, various types of stars, and constellations before returning to the starting point.
