Embark on a journey along coastlines once inhabited by pirates on this boat tour of Cabo de Gata, where the unique volcanic landscapes and dramatic cliffs will captivate your senses!
Tour Overview
At your chosen time, we will gather at the San José port, where a 26-foot boat equipped with seating and a sun deck awaits, providing a comfortable sailing experience along the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park coast.
Depending on the weather conditions, we will set sail either north or south from San José beach. Heading north, our route will take us past the Cueva del Tabaco and the renowned coves of Higuera, El Tomate, and Las Hermanicas, reaching Punta Escullos where we will pause for a refreshing swim in the Valle de los Escullos before making our way back to San José.
If the winds guide us southward, we will glide along the picturesque Los Genoveses beach, one of Almería's most celebrated destinations, and explore the Grande, Chica, and Principe coves. Additionally, we will have the chance to marvel at the Mónsul and Media Luna beaches from the boat, stopping again for a swim at Los Genoveses beach before heading back to port.
Regardless of the chosen route, you will enjoy stunning vistas of the steep cliffs and volcanic formations characteristic of Cabo de Gata, a landscape that has provided the backdrop for numerous cinematic productions.
Throughout the journey, we will share intriguing insights about the diverse ecosystems of the park, as well as the historical significance of the area. Did you know that it was once a haven for notorious pirates?
After sailing for approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes to 2 hours, we will conclude the adventure by returning to our starting point.
