Visit one of the smallest countries in Europe on this excursion to Monaco by train from Nice. We'll visit the main sites of the luxurious micro-state where the House of Grimaldi still reigns.

Monaco Train Excursion

We'll meet at the scheduled time in front of the Nice-Ville train station, next to Paul Bakery, to catch a train to Monaco. The journey takes about half an hour to arrive at the only train station in the Principality. Upon arrival, we will begin a guided tour of the historic center of Monaco, starting with a walk through streets that are part of the renowned Formula 1 Grand Prix.

During the tour, we'll visit notable Monaco landmarks including the St. Nicholas Cathedral and the Oceanographic Museum, established in 1910 and associated with various notable figures, including oceanographer Jacques Cousteau.

Next, we'll stop at the Jardin Exotique, a cliff-side garden with over 1,000 species of plants, some of which are over 100 years old. Afterward, we'll proceed back to the Monaco train station to return to Nice, concluding the excursion after a duration of 4 hours.

If preferred, you can extend your stay in the Principality to explore the palace area or the Monte Carlo Casino at your convenience. In this case, an open return train ticket will be provided for your return to Nice at your desired time on the same day.
