Visit one of the smallest countries in Europe on this excursion to Monaco by train from Nice. We'll visit the main sites of the luxurious micro-state where the House of Grimaldi still reigns.
Monaco Train Excursion
We'll meet at the scheduled time in front of the Nice-Ville train station, adjacent to Paul Bakery, where we'll catch a train to Monaco.
After a half-hour ride, we'll arrive at the only train station in the Principality. Once we disembark, we'll begin a guided tour of the historic center of Monaco, starting with a walk along some streets that are part of the famous Formula 1 Grand Prix.
We'll visit iconic landmarks such as the St. Nicholas Cathedral and the Oceanographic Museum, established in 1910 and once directed by the renowned oceanographer Jacques Cousteau.
Next, we'll stop at the Jardin Exotique, a cliff-side garden housing more than 1,000 species of plants, some over 100 years old. From the garden, we'll return to the Monaco train station to take the train back to Nice, concluding this excursion after 4 hours.
If desired, you can extend your visit in the Principality to explore the palace area or the Monte Carlo Casino at your own pace. In this case, an open return train ticket will be provided for you to return to Nice at your convenience on the same day.
