Trip to Massif de l'Estérel by Train

On this excursion from Nice to the Massif de l'Estérel, you will experience the coastal landscapes of the south of France while traveling on a historic railway line.

We will meet at Nice Ville station at the designated time to board the train to the Massif de l'Estérel. The journey will follow a historic railway line from the early 20th century, offering views of the southern French coastline, including the Corniche d'Or known for its ochre tones.

The train will take you between Cannes and Fréjus through the Green Provence, the largest forest in France. You will see the Lerins islands and the Maures Massif during the ride.

Midway through the trip, we will disembark at Saint-Raphaël-Valescure station to embark on a hiking route along the coast of the Corniche d'Or. This segment includes views of colorful rock formations and historical insights about World War II, including the beach of the Landing in Provence.

We will take a break for a picnic lunch amidst the scenic surroundings, followed by a walk to a viewpoint for a stunning vista of the Massif de l'Estérel. Finally, we will return to Nice by train, concluding the excursion after 10 hours.
