Delve into the heart of New Orleans on this tour of the French Quarter. We'll learn about the European origins of this city, visit City Park & the Garden District, and remember the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

New Orleans Tour

At the appointed time, we'll pick you up from your hotel to begin our tour of New Orleans. We'll start by strolling along the banks of the Mississippi River through the birthplace of the most important city in Louisiana.

During the tour of the French Quarter, we'll visit Jackson Square, home to the Cathedral of St. Louis, the oldest Catholic church in the United States. Nearby, you'll find the French Market.

We'll continue our tour to learn about the European heritage of the neighborhood, which has links to Bourbon Spain.

We'll leave the French Quarter by crossing Esplanade Avenue to reach City Park, the sixth largest urban park in the United States. Attractions include golf courses, an art museum, and a sculpture garden. We’ll also visit a cemetery in New Orleans to discover its unique burial practices.

Next, we'll explore the Garden District, known for its historic mansions. We will also see areas affected by Hurricane Katrina.

After three hours of sightseeing, we'll conclude the tour by dropping you off at your hotel.

New Orleans + Barataria Preserve Boat Tour (7.5 hours)

To enhance your experience, you can book the option that includes a boat tour of the Barataria Reserve. After the initial itinerary, we'll head south to cross the marshes of the Jean Lafitte National Park.

On board, we'll discover the rich flora and fauna of the area, with over 200 species of birds, snakes, turtles, and amphibians, with a chance to see alligators.

New Orleans + Oak Alley Plantation Tour (9 hours)

If you want to learn about a dark chapter in U.S. history, you can choose the option that includes an excursion to Oak Alley.

We'll visit this grand mansion and learn about one of the best-preserved plantations in Louisiana, after which we will complete the tour of New Orleans.
