After approximately 30 minutes, we'll arrive at Las Máquinas, where we can wander amongst fumaroles and boiling springs. This area is named Las Máquinas (The Machines) due to the sounds emitted by the Earth resembling steam engines.
Next, we will visit the old Bustillo Inn, the site of South America's first geothermal power plant. We'll explore its old geothermal well and discuss its history.
We will then proceed to the village of Copahue to see Agua de Limón (Lemon Water), a natural hot spring. The day trip includes a visit to Callos Lagoon in Copahue's Thermal Complex, where you will have 45 minutes of free time to enjoy the warm waters.
