Day Trip Details
During this experience, after picking you up from your hotel in Caviahue, we'll head northeast towards Copahue.
We'll first stop at the Mirador de Caviahue to view the impressive Copahue Volcano and lake. Following this, after approximately 30 minutes, we'll arrive at Las Máquinas to explore fumaroles and boiling springs. This site is named Las Máquinas due to the sounds emitted by the Earth resembling steam engines.
Next, we will visit the old Bustillo Inn to see the remnants of South America's first geothermal power plant, including its old geothermal well and discuss its history.
We will proceed to Copahue to visit Agua de Limón (Lemon Water), a natural hot water spring. This trip includes 45 minutes of free time at Callos Lagoon in Copahue's Thermal Complex to enjoy the warm volcanic waters.
Finally, we'll return to Caviahue, concluding with a drop-off at your hotel after a total of 4 hours.
