Hualcupén Lagoon Excursion

On this excursion to the Hualcupén Lagoon, you'll visit a freshwater lake formed by the thawing of the surrounding mountains.

Description

At the indicated time, we will meet at the meeting point in Caviahue or Copahue and set off on our excursion to the Hualcupén Lagoon. After a road trip of about 45 minutes, we will arrive at the Hualcupén Lagoon. There, you will have three hours of free time to explore the area and enjoy the surrounding landscapes.

Upon arrival, you can take a hiking route around the lagoon, noted for its volcanic sand and the beautiful environment surrounded by araucarias. You may also take a break to eat your packed lunch. Afterward, swimming in the crystal-clear waters is recommended. After four hours, we will return to the meeting point in Caviahue or Copahue.
