Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the meeting point in Caviahue or Copahue before starting this 4x4 tour through the Hualcupén Valley. A route full of adventure, surrounded by beautiful volcanic landscapes, awaits us!

Once in the off-road vehicle, we enter the Hualcupén Valley and begin an 8-kilometre (4.9-mile) drive along Ruta 26. Our first stop will be the Hualcupén Lagoon, surrounded by volcanic sand and a forest of araucarias. This natural spot is remarkable!

Continuing through the Hualcupén Valley, we head towards the Las Lecheras Valley, located another 10 kilometres (6.2 miles) away. Here we'll explore a Valdivian forest rich in ancient araucaria trees. We will share insights about the local flora and fauna.

In the valley, we will meet Margarita from a Mapuche community, who will offer us typical food, including fried cakes, homemade bread, and tea, while we learn about the customs and traditions of the Mapuche people.

The 4x4 excursion through the Hualcupén Valley concludes with a return to Copahue or Caviahue after 5 hours.
