Puente de Piedra Hiking Route

If you're looking for a unique adventure in Argentine Patagonia, you can't miss this hiking route along the Caviahue Puente de Piedra.

Description

After meeting at the indicated point in Caviahue or Copahue, we'll head to the starting location of the hiking route along the Puente de Piedra. The ascent to the Puente de Piedra trail is located 9 kilometres (5.5 miles) from Caviahue. Along this 1.5-kilometre-long (0.9-mile) trail, we'll interpret the local flora and fauna while exploring the geological landscape.

On our route, we'll enjoy panoramic views of Caviahue Lake, the entrance to the Hualcupen Valley, and the Copahue Volcano. After reaching the Puente de Piedra, there will be time to rest and take photos.

After 3.5 hours of hiking, we'll return to the meeting point.
