Riscos Bayos Hike

On this hiking tour of Riscos Bayos, we will explore the ignimbrites, distinctive rock formations in the Neuquen region.

Hike Details

After hotel pickup, we will head to the southwest of the Caviahue Caldera, specifically to the Cajón de Hualcupén, to see the impressive Riscos Bayos.

After a 30-minute journey, we will reach the entrance to the Riscos Bayos private site. We will provide hiking poles and begin our trek through rock formations shaped by volcanic eruptions. The hike will include columns, curious pillars, and spires.

Throughout the hike, we will admire the surrounding plain and make stops at strategic points for photos and rest. Riscos Bayos is considered a popular place for meditation, recognized in the area for contemplation and self-reflection.

Our final stop will be at a notable location within the park, where we will discuss the terrain and history while enjoying a hot drink. We will also experience a sunset over Riscos Bayos.

Subsequently, we will conclude the tour with drop-off at your hotel after a total duration of 4 hours.
