Riscos Bayos Hike

On this hiking tour of Riscos Bayos, we'll explore the unique ignimbrites, rock formations found in the Neuquen region.

Hike Details

This tour begins with a pickup from your hotel, followed by a trip to the southwest of the Caviahue Caldera. We will arrive at the impressive Riscos Bayos after a 30-minute journey.

Upon reaching the entrance to the Riscos Bayos private site, we will provide hiking poles and begin our trek through formations shaped by volcanic eruptions over millions of years. Participants will encounter various columns, pillars, and spires.

Throughout the hike, we will admire the surrounding plain, making stops at strategic points for photography and rest. Riscos Bayos is noted as a sought-after location for meditation and self-reflection.

Our final stop will be at one of the park's notable spots where we will discuss the terrain's characteristics and history while enjoying a hot drink. This will culminate in viewing a sunset over Riscos Bayos.

After a total duration of 4 hours, we will return to your hotel.
