Copán 2 Day Tour

On this 2 day tour to the ruins in Copán, we'll explore important Maya temples and palaces at one of the key archaeological sites in Honduras.

Itinerary

Day 1: San Salvador - San Andrés - Copán

Pickup from your hotel in San Salvador is at 8:30 am. We will visit the San Andrés Archaeological Park for a guided tour focusing on its acropolis and pyramids, previously covered by volcanic ash. Afterward, we will cross into Honduras, arriving in Copán approximately 4 hours later. The afternoon is free for lunch, exploration, or resting at the hotel.

Day 2: Copán - San Salvador

At 9 am, you will visit the Copán Archaeological Park with around 3 hours to explore these Maya ruins, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Highlights include pyramids, temples, altars, and sports fields. After visiting, we regroup at 1 pm to return to El Salvador, concluding the tour with a drop-off at your hotel by 6 pm.

3-Day Tour

An additional night can be added, with the third day following the same itinerary as the second day.

Accommodation

This tour includes 1 or 2 nights of accommodation at a 3-star hotel: Hotel Plaza Copán, Don Udo's or similar. The price is per person in a double room.
